Gold-filled jewelry has a thick layer of real gold (5–10%) pressure-bonded to a core metal. It is not gold-plated. Gold-filled lasts years, while gold plating can fade within weeks as it has less than .05% gold content.

No. The welding process is quick, painless, and safe — the spark never touches your skin.

Yes. They’re designed to stay on but can be removed with household scissors if needed. You can bring your chain back to have it re-welded.
10. Do I need to remove my bracelet at the airport?
No — permanent bracelets do not need to be removed at airport security. They do not set off metal detectors.
11. Do I need to remove my bracelet for an MRI?
Yes. All metal jewelry must be removed for MRI scans. If you need to cut your bracelet, bring it back afterward — we will reweld it for you free of charge. Your health comes first.
